Examination
- For promotion to the next class the average of the marks of the three terminal examinations will be taken for each subject. Only students who secure pass mark in each subject will be promoted.
- The general performance in all tests, examinations and the year’s work will be taken into account for promotion or detention.
- Students who absent themselves from an examination for any reason whatsoever will not be re-examined. They will be promoted or detained according to the year’s work.
- Absence from one or more subjects involves the loss of marks in those subjects and excludes the student from being reckoned in the order of merit.
- Absence from the whole examination involves total loss of marks
- Students who absent themselves from the examination without concrete reasons are given zero marks.
- Cases of failure will not be reconsidered.
- Parents who wish to see the answer papers of their wards should do so on the day fixed for the same. On no account shall they disturb the teachers on any other day. If due to unavoidable reasons they are not able to come on the date fixed, they should make an appointment with the teachers regarding date and time, with the permission of the Principal. Answer papers can be taken home but it should be returned.
- If any student takes leave, due to unavoidable circumstances, especially after getting the Exam/ Unit Test time table, valid reasons for the absence must be given by the parents in person.
