Library Rules :
- Education is the outcome of the knowledge and experience received. A Library is the source
and
store house of knowledge information and resources essential for the leap in the advancement
of
knowledge. .A Library enhances the cause of education and research. As the library is the
brain
of the educational institution, the management is keen to increase the number of useful
books
and periodicals and to provide the best facilities in the library. The reference section has
a
variety of standard encyclopaedias, dictionaries and subject reference books on all topics
at
the school level. All students and staff are members of the library.
- Silence is to be observed in the library.
- Books should be carefully handled and returned to the librarian.
- All sorts of marking, underlining or defacing of books by any means should be avoided.
- Students will not be allowed to enter the library with their books or bags.
- If any damage is caused to the books students must pay the actual cost of the book.
- Students are permitted to borrow only one book at a time and it can be kept for a period of
one week and is to be read on or before the due date.
- It can also be renewed once if nobody has made a reservation for the same.
- Library books are issued during the library period. Books will not be issued during the
recess time.
- The librarian may call for a book borrowed by any member even before the expiry or the
normal period of a week.
- Reference books may not be taken out of the library.
- Students are requested to examine the books at the time of borrowing and report to the
librarian any damage, loss of pages, pictures etc.
- Students should not pass on the books to others. Books borrowed should be kept neatly.
- Books which are lost, damaged or wrongly handled, will have to be paid for or replaced.
- The decision of the principal in all matters concerning the library will be final.
